Welcome back to the concert hall!

As we return to live events, our highest priority is the health and safety of our audiences, musicians and staff. The following policies and procedures are informed by public health recommendations to create a safe environment for all.

Seating Capacity

At our Mainstage concerts at FirstOntario Concert Hall, we continue to maintain distance between households. We will be seating guests in every other row with an empty seat between each party.

Proof of Full Vaccination

All guests 12 years of age and older, employees and event staff will be required to provide proof of full vaccination.

Attendees must present a government-issued photo ID and proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, meaning the full series of a Government of Canada accepted COVID-19 vaccine or combination of accepted vaccines, received at least 14 days prior to the day of the concert.

Proof of full vaccination includes documentation issued by the public health authority that administered the vaccine, such as:

Please reference the Government of Canada’s website for a list of currently accepted COVID-19 vaccines.

For those not fully vaccinated due to human rights exemption: A negative COVID-19 test result (PCR or antigen) from a healthcare provider taken within 48 hours of the concert’s scheduled start time must be presented. Self-administered at-home tests will not be accepted. There is no COVID-19 testing on-site. Please contact us prior to the concert.

Seating Capacity

Contactless Ticketing

The HPO has gone digital! For all concerts and events, only digital tickets will be available. Please present your tickets on your mobile device or bring a printed copy of your e-ticket when you arrive at the concert hall. Physical tickets will not be mailed or be available at the Box Office.

The Box Office will not be open on concert night; ticket purchases or registration for free events must be completed online, in advance.

Contact Tracing

For contact tracing purposes, the ticket purchaser will be considered the primary contact for any guests.

The purchaser is expected to have contact information for each person for whom they have purchased tickets and will share pertinent information with their guests.

No Intermission

Please note there will be no intermission at our concerts.

Each performance lasts approximately one hour.

Masks are required at all times indoors. Please bring a mask to the concert.

Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status, unless you are otherwise exempt from wearing a mask due to a disability, as defined by the Ontarians with Disabilities Act.

Wear a mask with two or more layers. Wear the mask over your nose and mouth and under your chin. Masks will be available upon request.

Stay home if you are unwell
