Biography
Andrew Neagoe is a clarinetist from Richmond Hill, Ontario, currently pursuing a Master of Music at the Eastman School of Music. He has recently been appointed Principal Clarinet of the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra and is an active substitute musician with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, National Ballet of Canada, and Canadian Opera Company.
Andrew is an alumnus of the University of Toronto Faculty of Music, NYO Canada, and the National Arts Centre Orchestra Mentorship Program. His principal teachers include Miles Haskins, Michael Wayne, and Jose Franch-Ballester. Away from the clarinet, Andrew can be found wandering forests searching for birds.
