Relive the magic of Jurassic Park on the big screen accompanied by a thrilling, live performance by the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra at FirstOntario Concert Hall on October 18.

The action-packed adventure pits humans against prehistoric predators in the ultimate battle for survival. Featuring visually stunning imagery and groundbreaking special effects, this epic film is sheer movie magic 65 million years in the making.

“I love the film Jurassic Park,” says Guest Conductor Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser. “I remember seeing it for the first time and getting chills at the first shot where you see all the dinosaurs together. Looking back, I realize that my thrill was due in no small part to the music of John Williams, music that I am thrilled to conduct with the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra. This is an incredible movie, made even more epic by the sounds of the live orchestra with all its colours on display. The vibrancy of the hall, the massive screen, the fact that you are watching in a huge room packed with people; these are all reasons why people the world over love to attend movie nights with live orchestra. There is no other experience like it!”

Now audiences can experience Jurassic Park like never before: projected in HD with a full symphony orchestra performing John Williams’ iconic score live to picture.
