Gifts of time and talent make many of the Orchestra’s programs and special events possible. You can become a part of the HPO family of active volunteers.
Members of the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra’s VFO all share a common goal – they love supporting the HPO's exciting concerts and outreach programs.
VFO members play an important role in the HPO by enthusiastically providing leadership and support for numerous projects and activities. Some of these include administrative and clerical support, brochure distribution, help with ad hoc tasks from hanging decorations, hosting in Conductor’s Circle, assisting with daytime concerts for school children to addressing invitations, staffing tables in the lobby promoting events or selling subscriptions.
Comprised of women and men of all ages and backgrounds, the VFP works to strengthen community awareness and public appreciation of the HPO. Through their support of special fundraising events, they contribute to the Orchestra’s financial strength and provide critical hands-on support services to HPO staff.
Joining the HPO Volunteer Friends of the Orchestra makes you a part of the HPO Family. As you share your talents and interest with fellow volunteers, you also learn more about the inner workings of Hamilton Place and the HPO. Volunteers share a sense of pride and a number of benefits.
New volunteers are always welcome. Call the HPO today for more information on how you can get involved.
